MJ Frick Company is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager / Estimator to oversee projects from estimating and bidding through successful completion. This leadership role is ideal for a motivated professional who excels at planning, problem-solving, building client relationships, and delivering quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare competitive bids, estimates, and project proposals
- Review plans, specifications, and perform quantity takeoffs
- Manage plumbing projects from award through closeout
- Coordinate schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Monitor budgets, job costs, forecasting, and project profitability
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation
- Collaborate with clients, general contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and field teams
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Plumbing Project Management experience
- Proven experience estimating and bidding plumbing projects
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and job costing
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
