Poland Tutor | Scratch

Kodland is a digital platform connecting tutors and children aged 5 to 17, teaching game development (Unity/Roblox/Minecraft), programming (Scratch/Python), web development (Javascript, HTML, CSS), digital design (Blender/Photoshop). Kodland's goal is to prepare children for the future. We help them acquire skills that set them up to succeed in their careers and develop their interests. Kodland operates in 40 countries and educates over 30,000 students.

Position description: The online tutor will be responsible for preparing and conducting online programming lessons in Scratch, providing support and feedback, and adapting teaching to the individual styles and needs of students.

• Teaching capacity: up to 10–15 hours per week

• Lesson duration: 60 minutes

• Lesson format: group and individual sessions on Zoom

Working hours:

• Flexible working hours

• Weekend availability is welcome

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Scratch and experience in carrying out programming projects in this language

• Excellent communication and teaching skills

• Experience working with children and young people

• Ability to adapt teaching to the individual needs of students

• Experience in online teaching or tutoring is preferred

• A relevant degree (Computer Science, Education, or similar) will be considered an additional advantage

Important: This is a remote position, so you will need your own laptop with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a quiet place to work. Candidates have the opportunity to learn Scratch and Roblox with us. We offer a B2B contract with the possibility of working as an unregistered sole trader; other available options also include cooperation with the TwójStartup incubator(commission contract/contract for specific work).
