Position Summary:
The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of assigned properties. This position requires a proactive approach to cleaning, responsiveness to requests, and consistent attention to detail throughout the workday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
- Follow instructions and assigned cleaning schedules
- Respond promptly to building and cleaning requests
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, elevators, and stairwells
- Pick up, empty, and transport trash and recycling
- Remove debris from floors and surrounding areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets and sinks
- Refill paper towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers
- Clean spills and maintain safe conditions at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas
- Clean glass surfaces including doors and mirrors
- Perform detailed dusting, vacuuming, and mopping as needed
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
