We are looking for a Portuguese Language Digital Content Reviewer to join an international content moderation team in Lisbon, Portugal.
You will review user-generated content on a major video sharing network, helping to ensure that published material complies with platform policies and community standards.

Your Responsibilities
As a Digital Content Reviewer, you will:
• Review and evaluate user-generated videos, images, text, and audio.
• Label and categorize content according to established moderation guidelines.
• Identify content that may violate platform policies or community standards.
• Apply content review procedures consistently and accurately.
• Evaluate digital content using relevant linguistic and cultural context.
• Stay informed about online trends, viral content, and emerging digital behaviors.
• Help maintain a safer and more trustworthy environment for platform users.
• Contribute to the accuracy and quality of moderation decisions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support consistent content review standards.
Important: This position may involve exposure to sensitive or disturbing material, including violence, sexually explicit content, offensive language, and misinformation. Candidates should be comfortable with the nature of this work.
What We Are Looking For
• Native level of Portuguese.
• English at B2 level or higher.
• Strong familiarity with social media and video sharing platforms.
• Good understanding of internet culture, viral trends, and online communication.
• Awareness of popular culture, digital expressions, and regional linguistic differences.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies consistently.
• Good judgment and organizational skills.
• Professional and responsible approach to sensitive content.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Prior experience in content moderation, digital operations, or online media is an advantage.
Working Hours
• Rotating shifts – Monday to Sunday.
• 40 working hours per week.
• The project operates 24/7.
• Rotating shifts, which may include nights and weekends.
• 8 working hours per day, plus a 1-hour lunch break.
• Working hours are communicated approximately 10 days in advance.
• Portuguese public holidays may be working days. Employees working on applicable holidays receive compensatory time off according to project arrangements.
Salary and Benefits
Total Monthly Financial Package: €1,227.33
The monthly package includes:
• Base salary: €920.00 gross/month.
• Holiday allowance: €76.67 gross/month.
• Christmas bonus: €76.67 gross/month.
• Meal allowance: €154.00/month, based on 22 eligible working days (€7.00 per day).
Holiday and Christmas bonuses are paid in monthly installments.
Additional Benefits
• Private health and dental insurance after signing the employment contract, subject to the necessary administrative documentation.
• Meal allowance paid via a prepaid meal card.
• 22 working days of vacation per year, in accordance with Portuguese labor law.
• Initial open-ended employment contract with an expected duration of approximately 12 months.
• Permanent employment arrangement after two years, subject to applicable contractual terms.
