Roles & Responsibilities:

Candidate will be a postdoctoral fellow working on the development of new therapies for metastatic, castration-resistant prostate cancer and be engaged in basic and translational research projects. The work focuses on the role of prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP) as a marker of progenitor cancer cells and as a target for treatment of advanced disease. The Levine Lab is DOD funded and is well established in the field of prostate cancer translational research. The fellow will use a wide array of techniques including immunohistochemistry, mouse xenograft models, and molecular biology techniques to uncover the important mechanisms. Under limited supervision, she will analyze and assist in interpreting complex results and the writing up of data for presentation and publication.
