Summary
A 3-6 month outside-IR35 contract to build a new suite of Power BI reports for hospitality reporting and improve existing commercial reporting. Day-to-day is hands-on development using DAX, semantic modelling, and report optimisation, with Databricks and Python/PySpark a bonus; hybrid with 1 day per week in Manchester.
Power BI Developer - Contract - 3-6 Month - Outside IR35
I am currently looking for two strong Power BI Developers. My client is looking to get people started to deliver hospitality and commercial reporting solutions.
As a Power BI Developer you will be focused on hands-on delivery, creating a new suite of Power BI reports for hospitality reporting from agreed business requirements, as well as improving and standardising the existing commercial reporting suite. The client requires individuals focused purely on hands-on execution rather than defining strategy.
Location: Manchester - 1 day per week
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Day Rate: £250 Per Day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Required experience will include:

Strong hands-on experience developing maintainable Power BI reporting solutions.

Advanced skills in DAX and semantic modelling.

Proven track record in report design, usability, and performance optimisation.

Hands-on delivery experience within hospitality reporting and commercial reporting environments.

Experience working with Databricks is useful.

Ability to interpret Python/PySpark is beneficial.
