Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer
Experience: 7+ Years (Overall including Power BI + Datawarehouse)
Role overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, SQL, and Azure services. This role requires someone who can work independently across the full project lifecyclefrom understanding requirements and defining timelines to hands-on development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end ownership of Power BI projects:
• Engage with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Estimate timelines and commit to realistic delivery schedules.
• Perform hands-on development of Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Design and build interactive and dynamic Power BI dashboards that provide meaningful insights.
• Develop and maintain complex DAX measures and calculations.
• Perform robust data modeling, managing relationships including many-to-many and controlling cardinality effectively.
• Implement dynamic measures based on user inputs and reporting context.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with a strong functional understanding.
• Collaborate with Azure data services like Synapse Analytics (dedicated and serverless)
• Conduct data validation, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure data quality.

Required Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and DAX.
• Experience in CI/CD deployment pipelines for Power BI.
• Strong expertise in SQL, with ability to write optimized, complex queries.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including star schema, normalization, and relationship management.
• Ability to build and apply dynamic measures and understand their business use cases.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take full ownership of reporting projects.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Oracle Database.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Microsoft certification in Power BI or Azure Data Services.
