Power Business Development Manager
Overall governance
• Cascade and implement power business development-related policies to subordinates and relevant stakeholders, in order to ensure that work practices are aligned with policies.
• Propose, periodically revise and gain approval on work processes and procedures to ensure efficient operation.
• Develop, propose, obtain approval, monitor and optimize utilization of unit’s resources and budget against company’s budget, to ensure optimization and the right prioritization of resources and budget.
Function-related accountabilities
• Manage and review key findings on consumers, competitors, government policy directions, and market conditions through continuous monitoring of various business and economic outlooks to align the discovery untapped power business opportunities with the company's direction.
• Manage, control, and perform complex investment activities such as conducting due diligence and valuation modeling to evaluate the potential value and risks associated with M&A deals and other untapped power business opportunities, which include but are not limited to projects related to waste-to-energy power, gas-fired power, solar rooftop and energy storage, etc.
• Manage, control, and perform complex activities for all business development activities to ensure information completion and reliability to support senior managements' decision-making and to ensure deals can be closed and meet all business development objectives.
• Act as a liaison by establishing and maintaining constant communication with key stakeholders to ensure all information and processes are aligned for proper operational coordination between internal functions and clients.
• Manage various relationships such as building networks with key industry players across different sectors, developing strong rapports with clients through regular following-up sessions, and collaborating with other functions and personnel within the company to ensure successful delivery of service to the clients/stakeholders.
