Team: Cloud & Primary Power Solutions (CPPS) Level: Junior to Principal Experience:0 to 3 years (Associate/Junior); 3 to 7+ years (Senior/Principal)

The Role

Design, simulate, analyse and test high-frequency power supply units (AC/DC and DC/DC), taking concepts from first prototype through validation and manufacturing readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimise high-density switching power supply topologies, including LLC resonant converters, phase-shifted full-bridge and active PFC stages.

• Build mathematical models and run circuit simulations (PSIM, LTspice, MATLAB, Simulink, Mathcad) to evaluate performance and stability.

• Specify and design criticalcomponents and magnetics (transformers, inductors) and select Si orwide-bandgap (SiC, GaN) devices.

• Carry out board bring-up andperformance characterisation, and troubleshoot failures using high-bandwidthoscilloscopes, power analysers and dynamic electronic loads.

• Work with thermal, PCB layout, embedded firmware and component engineering teams to ensure design integrity, reliability and thermal performance.

• Conduct signal and powerintegrity testing and ensure compliance with global safety and EMI/EMCstandards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or closely related), with a focus on power electronics.

• Hands-on hardware development experience in high-density power supplies for Senior and Principal levels.

• Solid understanding of control loop design (analog and digital), magnetics design and thermal layout considerations.
