We are seeking an experienced Project Management Leader to lead the successful team of skilled Power Generation Project Managers in Malaysia. This role is responsible for managing all facets of the project execution business, leading a team of project managers, driving stakeholder alignment, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a portfolio of Power Generation projects across Southeast Asia.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and overall project performance.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to project managers and project teams.
- Collaborate with customers, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Drive project governance, reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Ensure effective resource allocation and project prioritization across the region.
- Promote continuous improvement and best practices within project management processes.
- Monitor project outcomes and ensure alignment with business and customer requirements.

- Adapts to target audience - Explains complex topics (significant technical data, subject matter expertise, etc.) in such a way that the target audience (e.g. sales professionals, customers, training vendors, etc.) can understand, retain, and use the information
- Integrates Customer Perspective - Incorporates an understanding of the customers' perspective on our products and sales efforts to develop sales content that improves our ability to meet their needs and increase revenue.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Extensive project management experience, including leadership of cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects within scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Experience managing project financials, resources, and risks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Experience within the Power Generation, energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
- Experience leading regional or multi-country projects.
- Knowledge of project governance, change management, and quality management principles.
- Experience managing projects within Data Centre, Mission Critical Facilities, Construction, Infrastructure, Power Generation, or Industrial environments will be highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with data centre project lifecycles, construction management practices, EPC projects, commissioning activities, and stakeholder coordination across complex project environments is preferred.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale capital projects involving multiple contractors, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders would be an added advantage
