Power Platform Developer - Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate

We are looking for 5+ years experienced Power Platform Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate to design, develop, optimize, and publish business applications, automated workflows, and interactive dashboards.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data modelling, SQL, data integration, report optimization, and Power Platform implementation. The candidate should be able to understand business requirements, recommend appropriate technical solutions, and work independently to deliver high-quality solutions..

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Microsoft Power Platform:-

• Hands-on experience developing and publishing Power Apps.
• Strong experience with Power BI report and dashboard development.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate (Microsoft Flows).
• Good understanding of Power Platform implementation and solution design.

2.Power BI:-

• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Power BI report and dashboard development, publishing, and optimization.
• Experience with Power BI Dataflows.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and effective data visualization.
• Ability to recommend appropriate analytical patterns, templates, and dashboard storytelling techniques.

3. Data Modelling and Integration:-

• Strong understanding of dimensional modelling, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Experience integrating data from multiple data sources.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with SQL Server and relevant enterprise data sources.

4. Additional Technical Requirements:-

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse.
• Ability to understand business requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Experience working independently as an individual contributor.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Design, develop, test, and publish Power Apps, Power BI reports and dashboards, and Power Automate workflows using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Develop and optimize Power BI reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Implement Power BI Dataflows and improve report performance, usability, and data refresh efficiency.
• Recommend appropriate Power BI analysis patterns, templates, features, visualization techniques, and dashboard storytelling approaches.
• Design and implement dimensional data models, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL Server, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, SharePoint, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SAP BW.
• Work with SQL-based data sources and support migration of reports and dashboards from Spotfire to Power BI.
• Develop and maintain data models, datasets, reports, and dashboards aligned with business requirements.
• Recommend and implement suitable Power Platform solutions based on functional requirements and technical feasibility.
• Work with SQL databases and Microsoft Dataverse to support application development and data management.
• Support the development of virtual agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, where required.
• Develop scripts and automation solutions to support implementation and operational requirements.
• Work with SharePoint Online Client-Side Object Model (CSOM) and scripting, as required.
• Monitor assigned tasks, provide regular progress updates to the team lead, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Follow established development standards, maintain proper documentation, and continuously improve solution quality.

Required Experience:-

• 5 years to 8 years of relevant experience in application development, data analytics, business intelligence, or Microsoft Power Platform.
• Practical experience developing and publishing Power Apps, Power BI reports, and Power Automate workflows.
• Experience in data modelling, SQL, report optimization, and data integration.
• Ability to work independently, manage assigned deliverables, and collaborate effectively with the team.
