Power Platform DevOps engineer
This position is part of a team within the organization that focuses on Low-Code platform automation (primarily Microsoft Power Platform). Growth and adoption of these Low-Code platforms are projected to increase over the next two years as the firm transitions from early adopters to a broader user base.
Must Have
- Experience with Low-Code platforms (primarily Power Platform), cloud architecture design, and application integration/refactoring to work with public cloud
- Strong Low-Code platform development / programming skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and using test-driven frameworks
- Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts for Power Platform solutions ALM
- Strong communication and written skills
- Experience creating technical architecture documentation
- Experience designing systems to scale in an enterprise environment
- Experience with Power Pages, Power Apps (both types), Power Automate, AI Builder and Copilot Studio/Agents, Power BI integration
- Experience with large-scale deployment types, methods, and adoption
Desirable
- Dynamics 365 or Power Platform Training / Certification
- Power Platform Security model and access provisioning
- Dataverse Management
- Dataverse schema design
- Demonstrated experience within an Agile/DevOps environment:
- REST APIs using custom connector or HTTP connector using OAuth
- Copilot Studio
- Creating applications with custom security roles following least privilege
- Appreciation and experience of security, legal and regulatory/compliance controls required to move data into a cloud service, preferably from the finance sector
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to think strategically
- Ability to switch between strategy and detail
