Summary

The Power Platform Owner is responsible for managing the operating model of the Power Platform, ensuring alignment of build, architecture governance, community enablement, and operational support. This role is crucial for balancing business needs with enterprise controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the platform roadmap, governance principles, and operating model for Power Platform migration and post-migration run.

  • Arbitrate decisions across build, run, architecture, and community when priorities or constraints conflict.

  • Ensure platform foundation covers templates, connectors, DLP, environments, capacity, error handling, licensing, and standards.

  • Review risks and trade-offs related to capacity, licensing, supportability, and governance exceptions.

  • Sponsor and maintain the relationship between ARB decisions, backlog priorities, and run support capacity.

  • Ensure run platform resources have the authority, process, and information required to support applications.

  • Coordinate with IT leadership on platform risks, resourcing, roadmap, and operating model maturity.

  • Define and review KPIs for intake throughput, delivery, quality, run stability, and compliance.

  • Support supplier/resource onboarding and offboarding expectations where external profiles are used.

  • Ensure ownership and accountability are clear across citizen development, central build, and run support.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience as a Product Owner

  • Proficiency in Power Platform technologies

  • Experience developing platform roadmaps

  • AGILE methodology experience

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of governance principles for digital platforms

  • Experience in coordinating with IT leadership

  • Understanding of KPIs and metrics for platform performance
