Salary: £55,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements:- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are desirable, including Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Azure certifications (AZ-900/AZ-104 or equivalent), or other relevant Microsoft Data, AI or Cloud certifications
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
- Experience across Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Experience designing customer-facing data and analytics solutions
- Strong understanding of data modelling, governance, security and reporting best practices
- Experience delivering customer workshops, pre-sales engagements and technical consultancy
- Experience producing high-quality technical documentation and solution designs
- Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Commercial awareness with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Passion for continuous learning and emerging Microsoft technologies
- Report to our Enterprise Solution Architect as a senior member of our Solution Design team
- Design, govern and deliver modern Microsoft data and analytics solutions across our client base
- Lead the design of modern Microsoft data and analytics solutions for new and existing customers
- Produce and review High Level Designs and technical documentation aligned to our standards
- Design enterprise analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, OneLake, Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouses, Warehouses and Semantic Models
- Design scalable reporting architectures supporting operational, management and executive reporting
- Support customers in defining reporting strategies, KPI frameworks and self-service BI capabilities
- Lead customer workshops to gather reporting, analytics and data requirements
- Present proposed technical solutions to technical and business stakeholders
- Support Account Managers and Solution Architects with technical proposals, Statements of Work and project scoping
- Act as subject matter expert for Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and our modern analytics platform
- Advise customers on data governance, security, data modelling and reporting best practice
- Help organisations modernise legacy reporting platforms, spreadsheets and disconnected data sources
- Design data integration solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, SQL Server and third-party applications
- Support adoption of Microsoft Fabric capabilities including Real-Time Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science and OneLake where appropriate
- Promote best practice around semantic modelling, DAX optimisation, report performance and workspace governance
- Stay current with Microsofts roadmap across Fabric, Power BI, Copilot and AI-powered analytics
- Work closely with Project Managers, Consultants and Developers to support successful project delivery
- Provide technical leadership throughout implementation projects
- Support complex troubleshooting across customer reporting and analytics environments
- Ensure solutions align with security, governance and operational best practice
- Support testing, validation, deployment and customer handover
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and technical standards
- Improve technical capability across the business through mentoring and knowledge sharing
- Support Consultants, Developers and Engineers with reporting architecture and analytics guidance
- Contribute to internal documentation, workshops and technical training
- Encourage innovation through adoption of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and emerging Microsoft AI capabilities
