Precision Surface Grinder - 1st Shift

We manufacture turbine blades and vanes for many of the largest gas turbine manufacturers and militaries around the world. We use high precision CNC milling, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and 3 and 5-axis creep feed and CBN grinding.

The Precision Surface Grinder (Radius & Prep Operator) has critical areas of responsibility for deburring and smoothing out parts as a final step in operations and quality to meet our increasing customer demand. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, committed to safety for self and the team, hungry to learn and make improvement, a high standard for quality and process compliance, and a team player

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Using a motorized cylindrical brush, operator smooths edges of part according to customer specifications.
• Insert radius in certain parts using a grinding wheel.
• Ensure parts are within the defined specifications to meet quality standards.
