PreOp/PACU RN (Part Time)

DISC Surgery Center is seeking a part-time PreOp/PACU RN for our Carlsbad location. This position is expected to work 2-3 days/week (Monday - Friday). This location specializes in Orthopedic, spine and pain management procedures.
In this position, you will:
- Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels
- Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
