Understand customer workload requirements, perform sizing, recommend server configurations, prepare BOM, solution design, and technical presentations.

Storage (SAN/NAS)

Assess capacity, performance and growth requirements; recommend storage architecture, RAID, replication and data protection strategies.

Backup & Recovery

Gather RPO/RTO requirements, design backup architecture, recommend backup solutions and recovery strategies.

Virtualization

Analyze environment, size VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix platforms, design HA/DR architecture and migration plans.

Email Security

Evaluate email threats and recommend anti-spam, anti-phishing, malware protection and compliance solutions.

EDR

Assess endpoint security posture and recommend EDR platforms, deployment architecture and response workflows.

XDR

Design integrated security monitoring across endpoints, identities, networks and cloud environments.

Disaster Recovery (DR)

Understand business continuity needs and recommend replication, DR site sizing and failover strategies.

Common Presales Responsibilities
