Corporate Pricing Analyst/Clerk

Position Objective: To assist Cosentino’s Food Store locations by executing and maintaining pricing in system while ensuring pricing complies with agreed upon guidelines. The individual who works within this role will also aid in resolving pricing problems.
Reporting Structure: This position formally reports to Director of Center Store.
Status: This is a non-exempt position.
Knowledge
The following is a list of any certifications, formal education, or training requirements for this position.
Essential Knowledge
 Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite and 10-key is required.
 One (1) year of experience in retail pricing preferred but not necessary.
 Completion of initial as well as ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino’s Learning Plan.
 Experience working with Excel and other spreadsheets.
Non-Essential Knowledge
 A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

 Execute and maintain all appropriate data fields such as item#, UPC, cost, and retail in the current system while ensuring pricing complies with agreed upon guidelines.
 Knows and implements the Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards.
 Aid in resolving pricing problems.
 Responsible for the integrity of prices in the Retail Pricing Environment.
 Conform to co-workers, management, store personnel and others in a courteous and professional manner
 Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
 Demonstrates the strong verbal and interpersonal skills necessary for positive customer and peer interactions.
 Demonstrates the basic math and reading skills required for the position.
 Detail Oriented.

 Ensure the pricing system is accurately updated with new items.

Physical Abilities
The following physical movements could potentially be part of any scheduled shift and employees will be expected to perform these actions while on duty.
Essential Abilities
 Reaching overhead with both arms, twisting at the waist and lifting objects with both hands weighing up to 5 lbs.
 Sitting for long periods of time at a computer workstation.
 Able to lift up to 25lbs.
Non-Essential Abilities
 Climbing a ladder, possibly up to 5ft.
