Description
Loozeele Initiative and Loozeele Excellence Academy are searching for a compassionate and committed educator to lead a Primary Two classroom. As a non-profit organization, our mission focuses on empowering young Kayayei women from Northern Ghana by providing vocational training in trades such as basketry, weaving, baking, and shea butter production. To support these women, we also run a school for their children. We need a dedicated teacher with a background in education to foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages the holistic growth of our young students.

- Monitor and evaluate each child's unique strengths, needs, and developmental progress to ensure personalized support.
- Organize and lead daily routines such as circle time, storytelling, play sessions, and rest periods, while coordinating educational and recreational events that build motor skills, language abilities, and social connections.
- Establish consistent and clear communication channels with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, share classroom updates, and address any concerns through regular meetings and feedback sessions.
- Maintain a secure and hygienic classroom setting by enforcing health and safety guidelines, providing basic first aid as needed, and documenting any incidents that occur.
- Work closely with fellow teachers, staff members, and administrators to build a unified and supportive school culture, while actively participating in professional development and training workshops.
Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a sincere commitment to the welfare and development of young children.
