Principal, AI & Cloud Strategy Programs

Ensure that every initiative across the AI, FinOps, and CloudOps portfolio — current or newly emerging — is planned, coordinated, tracked, and delivered to a decision-ready standard. The responsibilities below are representative of how this mission is met today; the role is expected to flex as the portfolio and the AI landscape evolve.

This role has a strong preference for Hybrid 3x a week in-office at our Boston location.

  • Execute the AI and cloud program portfolio set by the Head of AI Strategy — build and maintain roadmaps, run the delivery cadences, and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Produce executive-ready analysis and materials — build the business cases, ROI models, status reporting, and leadership and Board decks.
  • Coordinate FinOps and CloudOps delivery hands-on — turn cost data and dashboards into actionable reporting, and chase optimization and savings actions to closure.
  • Run intake and prioritization operations — manage the pipeline, document proposals, and prepare recommendations for the Head of AI Strategy’s decision.
  • Drive vendor and tool evaluations — run assessments, comparisons, and pilots of AI platforms; manage day-to-day vendor relationships.
  • Take ownership of new and emerging programs, analyses, and operational needs across AI, FinOps, and CloudOps as they arise — including workload types not yet defined — at the direction of the Head of AI Strategy.
  • Maintain the program operating rhythm — cadences, OKR tracking, risk and dependency logs, and resource mapping.
  • Implement and maintain AI governance processes — keep reviews, documentation, and monitoring running against the framework defined by leadership.
  • Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Approximately 7–10+ years in program management, strategy execution, or corporate development, with a strong hands-on delivery track record.

  • Hands-on program and project execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Builds business cases, financial models, trackers, and executive materials directly (not by delegation).

  • Demonstrated adaptability and learning agility — quickly takes ownership of unfamiliar, ambiguous, or newly emerging problems and builds the structure to deliver them; comfortable in a fast-changing domain where responsibilities will evolve.

  • Strong organization and follow-through — drives actions to closure with minimal oversight.

  • Clear written and verbal communication for executive audiences.

  • Familiarity with cloud cost management / FinOps concepts; business-level AI/ML literacy (engineering depth not required).

  • Handles confidential cost, financial, and strategic information with discretion.
