Principal AI Engineer – Microsoft Copilot Studio – Sydney

Delivery Centric is seeking an experienced Principal AI Engineer – Microsoft Copilot Studio to lead enterprise-scale AI and Agentic AI architecture, technical strategy and governance across advanced conversational and customer interaction platforms.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in designing and delivering AI-powered enterprise platforms, defining architectural standards, establishing AI governance frameworks and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with enterprise technology strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise AI and Agentic AI architecture and technical strategy.
• Architect scalable AI-powered platforms, agentic workflows and conversational solutions.
• Establish architectural standards, governance frameworks, security controls and AI guardrails.
• Define enterprise integration patterns across APIs, microservices and cloud platforms.
• Drive architecture decisions for LLMs, RAG, vector search and multi-agent solutions.
• Establish standards for responsible AI, human-in-the-loop workflows and operational governance.
• Provide architectural direction and technical oversight to engineering teams.
• Ensure scalability, resilience, security and production readiness across AI platforms.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and define their adoption within enterprise environments.

Key Skills Required

• Strong software engineering background with React/TypeScript and C#/.NET.
• Enterprise architecture, APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
• Azure and/or AWS Cloud architecture.
• DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing and production operations.
• Deep experience designing and delivering LLM and Agentic AI solutions.
• RAG architecture, prompt engineering and vector search.
• Conversational AI, NLU/NLP.
• Enterprise AI governance, security, human-in-the-loop workflows and AI guardrails.
• Technical strategy, architecture leadership and enterprise integration.
