Staff AI Engineer – Copilot – Sydney

Delivery Centric is seeking an experienced Staff AI Engineer to provide technical leadership across the development of AI agents, enterprise integrations and intelligent customer interaction platforms.

The successful candidate will combine strong full-stack engineering expertise with advanced AI orchestration capabilities, leading technical design decisions and guiding the development of scalable, secure and production-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of AI agents, workflows and conversational platforms.
• Drive solution architecture and engineering practices across full-stack applications.
• Lead enterprise API, microservices and system integration initiatives.
• Design and implement LLM-based solutions, RAG pipelines and multi-agent workflows.
• Guide engineering teams on AI orchestration, prompt engineering and vector search.
• Establish engineering standards for security, testing, CI/CD and production readiness.
• Drive the implementation of AI guardrails and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews and mentorship to engineering teams.

Key Skills Required

• React, TypeScript and C#/.NET.
• APIs, microservices and enterprise integrations.
• Azure and/or AWS Cloud.
• DevSecOps, CI/CD and automated testing.
• Strong experience with LLMs and Agentic AI solutions.
• RAG, prompt engineering and vector search.
• Conversational AI, NLU/NLP.
• AI orchestration, human-in-the-loop workflows and AI guardrails.
• Technical leadership and solution design experience.
