Principal AI Engineer

Requirements:

• 8-10+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience building large-scale, production-grade systems.
• Strong experience designing and building event-driven, distributed systems using technologies like Kafka, streaming platforms, and asynchronous architectures.
• Experience building or integrating AI-powered applications, agentic workflows, LLM-based systems, or AI infrastructure is a strong plus.
• Solid expertise in software architecture, system design, scalability, reliability, and performance optimisation.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust (at least one) with experience building high-throughput backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching technologies (Redis), and scalable data storage solutions.
• Familiarity with microservices, observability, monitoring, and production operations in distributed environments.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to design, build, and operate mission-critical backend platforms.
