TechnologyOne is transforming the way enterprise software is designed, delivered and experienced. As a Principal Architect within our Enterprise Architecture and Governance team, you'll play a key role in turning the CTO's strategic vision into reality.



This is a highly influential role where you'll operate at an enterprise and strategic level, connecting business priorities with technical outcomes. You'll lead architecture initiatives, shape future capabilities, guide transformation and help ensure our products and delivery teams are positioned for scalable growth and continued innovation.



What you'll be doing…

• Create strategies, architectures and designs for future product features and capabilities.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation for the systems we own and operate, including conducting health assessments and reporting on outcomes.
• Define integration and data patterns that enable analytics, AI and integration with external data sets and systems.
• Create and lead actionable architecture roadmaps that support product planning and delivery.
• Communicate architecture strategies and complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences across the organisation, as well as external partners and customers.
• Evaluate and select technologies that support our strategic direction.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure architecture enables business and customer outcomes.
• Get hands-on with Proof of Concept (POC) work, innovation-driven design and technical mentoring.
• Help shape and continuously improve the architecture practice at TechnologyOne.

Your Talents…

• Deep experience in enterprise software development and architecture, ideally within SaaS environments.
• Broad technical capability and the versatility to work across a range of technologies and complex business challenges.
• Strong conceptual thinking, commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience architecting, engineering and delivering large-scale projects within an enterprise software environment.
• Experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives, including mentoring and providing technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments, including AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• The ability to work effectively with external service providers and make commercially sound technology decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to make complex ideas easy to understand.
• Strong understanding of non-functional requirements including security, scalability and performance.
• TechnologyOne experience and experience within one of our key vertical markets would be advantageous.
