Principal Consultant, IT Lifecycle Solutions & Sales
Salary: RM 4,500 – RM 5,500 per month
Position Overview
Since 2007, Rentalworks Group has pioneered Sustainable Technology Lifecycle Management across Southeast Asia. Operating across Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, we have successfully managed over 70,000 IT assets for a diverse portfolio of 5,000+ clients. As an ESG Gold Award-winning organization, we champion the circular economy through our proprietary 3R framework: Rent, Refurbish, and Repurpose. Our brand-agnostic Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) model empowers businesses to optimize IT expenditures, boost workforce productivity, and significantly lower their carbon footprint by eliminating e-waste.
We are seeking a commercially astute and technically proficient Lead, IT Solutions & Commercial Strategy to drive our pre-sales architecture and strategic deal execution. In this critical position, you will bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and commercial success, designing customized IT lifecycle strategies while overseeing the seamless transition of these solutions into our operational delivery teams.
You will serve as a trusted technical partner to our clients, guaranteeing that our services surpass SLAs, while continuously driving operational excellence and advancing our ESG objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Technical Consulting & Deal Structuring

• Translate complex technical capabilities into persuasive business cases, emphasizing ROI, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reductions, and measurable ESG benefits.

• Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets through strategic solution selling.
• Act as the primary escalation point for enterprise accounts, rapidly resolving intricate technical or service delivery challenges during the sales and onboarding phases.
Post-Sale Transition & Client Success
• Direct the end-to-end provisioning, deployment, and continuous maintenance of client IT assets and print ecosystems, ensuring a flawless handover from sales to operations.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to evaluate KPIs, forecast future IT requirements, and uncover avenues for account expansion (upselling/cross-selling).
• Streamline "Refurbish and Repurpose" workflows to boost asset recovery yields and minimize electronic waste.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
• Mentor, guide, and manage a cross-functional team comprising solution consultants, field technicians, and technical support engineers.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture rooted in technical mastery, continuous improvement, and a client-first mindset.
• Design and implement SOPs and upskilling programs to keep the team abreast of emerging technologies and ESG standards.
