As a Principal AWS Data Engineer, you’re the architect of the pipeline, making sure data is accessible, high-quality, and ready for action.

• Designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines within the AWS ecosystem.
• Developing robust ETL/ELT processes to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Architecting enterprise-grade, highly scalable data lakes, lakehouses, and processing pipelines on AWS
• Setting data engineering best practices, design patterns, and governance standards across delivery teams
• Modernizing legacy data infrastructures and driving complex, large-scale migrations to modern AWS cloud data stack solutions
• Optimizing data platform performance, reliability, scalability, and AWS cloud expenditure
• Partnering closely with client leadership, enterprise architects, and data science teams to turn strategic goals into robust technical execution
• Mentoring senior data engineers and driving technical thought leadership across projects

You might work with:

• Core AWS: S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift
• EMR Compute & Orchestration: Python, PySpark, Step Functions, Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA)
