Principal Product Manager - Fleet SaaS

Open 30d

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the core build and evolution of the Fleet SaaS platform.
This is a deep execution and platform ownership role — you will define system architecture (from a product lens), drive feature development, and ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and aligned with real-world operations.

You will work closely with:

  • Principal Product Marketing Manager → for GTM, positioning, and monetisation

  • Engineering teams → for execution and delivery

  • Operations teams → for real-world validation

What You’ll Own

  • End-to-end ownership of the Fleet SaaS product build
  • Platform architecture (product-level), modules, and feature evolution
  • Core systems: asset management, telematics, rentals, utilisation, service workflows
  • Execution across web dashboards, mobile apps, and backend systems
  • Product scalability, reliability, and performance

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • 6–10+ years in Product Management (preferably SaaS / platform products)
  • Strong experience in building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms
  • Proven track record of 0→1 and scale product execution
  • Strong understanding of:
    APIs and backend systems
System design and platform architecture (product-level)
  • Experience working with engineering teams in high-execution environments
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in metrics, dashboards, and tracking systems
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in fleet management, mobility, logistics, or EV ecosystems
  • Exposure to telematics, IoT, or real-time data systems
  • Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms
  • Understanding of operations-heavy workflows (allocations, dispatch, service)

Core Capabilities

  • Strong execution and ownership mindset
  • Deep system thinking and structured problem solving
  • Ability to balance speed vs scalability vs reliability
  • High clarity in communication with engineering and stakeholders
  • Focus on building practical, usable systems (not theoretical products)

Tools & Exposure

  • Jira, Notion, Confluence
  • Analytics tools: Mixpanel, Amplitude, Looker, Power BI
  • Basic SQL and event tracking understanding
  • Experience working with APIs and system integrations

What We Are Looking For

  • A builder-first product leader, not just a strategist
  • Someone who can translate complexity into structured systems
  • Strong alignment with real-world operations and constraints
