Principal Software Engineer (Python + AWS) at BairesDev
In this role, you'll provide senior technical direction for API-driven products used by partners. You'll stay hands‑on while guiding engineers and architecture decisions across teams.
What You'll Do
- Define and evolve the architecture of partner‑facing APIs, including versioning, authentication, and rate limits.
- Design and build data products and APIs from scratch.
- Guide the technical direction of SaaS and API‑as‑a‑Service offerings on AWS.
- Apply serverless and DevOps practices to support reliable delivery.
- Mentor engineers and promote sound design practices across teams.
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience with Python and either C#/.NET or Java.
- Background designing partner‑facing APIs, including versioning, authentication, and rate limiting.
- Track record delivering SaaS or API‑as‑a‑Service products.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, particularly on AWS (Azure or GCP also welcome).
- Familiarity with serverless architectures, DevOps practices, and API gateways.
- Advanced level of English.
