Principal Solutions Engineer

You will help institutions, fintechs, and enterprises across the Americas adopt Dfns by designing integrations for complex environments, guiding deployments, and providing end-to-end technical support. You will advise CTOs, architects, and engineering teams, create tailored solutions, deliver technical proposals, troubleshoot issues, maintain documentation, and collaborate with backend, security, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Guide financial institutions and fintechs through onboarding and integration
• Build secure and scalable deployment pathways connecting legacy and modern systems
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshoot issues alongside client teams
• Collaborate with sales on technical proposals demos and RFP responses
• Maintain and improve technical documentation and developer guides
• Gather client feedback and translate insights into product and API improvements
• Represent Dfns at conferences workshops and customer meetings

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in solutions engineering forward-deployed engineering or enterprise integration
• Experience helping institutions or enterprises deploy mission-critical systems
• Proficiency in TypeScript or similar languages
• API experience with REST
• Knowledge of AWS cloud platforms
• Knowledge of microservices and serverless architectures
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver under pressure
• Understanding of ISO 27001 SOC 2 and PCI DSS security frameworks
• Strong communication documentation presentation and demonstration skills
• Knowledge of blockchain custody and financial workflows
• AWS Solutions Architect certification is a plus
• Spanish or Portuguese fluency is valued
