Print Operator - (PM Shifts)
Job Purpose
The purpose of a Machine Operator/Print Operator is to own the responsibility of reading packing sheets, quality inspecting product coming out of a Dry Offset printer and loading product into boxes according to company standards. This position requires you to work in a warm temperature environment throughout your shift. You would be required to obtain a full range of motion from standing, reaching, moving, bending, and lifting 40lbs as necessary. Although there is no quota to obtain, you would be required to work at a steady speed to keep up with production.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect finished product from the Dry Offset printer

Separate defected product and set in designated area for recycling. Defected product would include ink splatter, faded ink, smudges, etc.

Package good quality product according to company standards

Read packing sheets that guides you on how many pieces of product go into a box

Assemble boxes onto pallets according to company standards

Label boxes and pallets in preparation for shipping

Operator a manual pallet jack

Move finished pallets with pallet jack to designated area for Material Handlers

Identify errors and problem solve

Perform minor adjustments to Dry Offset printer (i.e., adjust screws, add ink)

Perform other tasks as directed by supervisors or managers
