About the opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Process Analyst & Document Writer to join our Information Services team on a full-time, two-year fixed term contract.
Supporting business readiness and successful organisational change across HomeStart's technology and systems, you will analyse business processes, identify operational impacts arising from change, and develop clear, practical documentation that helps our people adopt new systems and ways of working with confidence.
What you will be doing:
Analyse current and future state business processes to identify impacts, risks, opportunities and improvement recommendations.
Work with Business Analysts, subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand business requirements, system functionality and operational impacts.
Facilitate workshops, interviews and process walkthroughs to gather, validate and document business processes.
Develop and maintain process maps, Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, user guides and knowledge articles.
Ensure documentation is governed appropriately through version control, review and publishing practices.
Support business readiness and change activities by delivering accurate, practical and user-focused documentation.
What you will bring:
Demonstrated experience analysing business processes and translating complex information into clear operational documentation.
Experience developing process maps, procedures, work instructions and other end-user documentation.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, gather information and build consensus.
Experience managing document quality, governance and version control.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, SharePoint and Visio (or similar process mapping tools).
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes to agreed timeframes.
Demonstrated experience in technical writing or operational process mapping within financial services environment would be highly regarded.
