Oar Staffing is conducting a search for a Process Engineer for an Automotive client in Southern Indiana

Robotic controls programming (ABB, Fanuc, Motoman)

This is a DIRECT HIRE

Salary - 80K -100K

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist in revising and developing standard operational work practices.

· Design, develop, and modify production processes, products and equipment for cost effective and efficient operations and to ensure customer specifications are met.

· Facilitate effective utilization of root cause analysis methodology which includes, but is not limited to, Six Sigma tools, daily meetings, data collection, fish bone diagrams, 5-whys, brainstorming exercises, etc.

· Directly responsible for PFMEA & Work Instructions.

· Ensure compliance with all related IATF-16949, ISO 45001 and ISO-14001 policies and procedures.

Education / Experience

• Robotic controls programming (ABB, Fanuc, Motoman)
• Polymer extrusion, spunbond, non-woven textile line experience (a plus)
• 4 year technical degree, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering
• 2-5 years process engineering background in an automotive manufacturing environment
• CAD experience
• Experience with Allen Bradley & (Siemens ) control equipment
• Lean Manufacturing experience required

Math Ability

• Strong math skills are required to handle complex calculations, and problem solving.

Computer Skills

• Autocad
