Process Operator



Job Summary:

onsemi is looking for a QA/QC Operator. The role of the QA/QC Operator is primarily to manage the test wafer flows that allow the Fab to maintain and test the production equipment. Additionally, the QA/QC Operator will coordinate with Fab Operators to provide direction on loading wafers into production equipment, verify product specs with equipment settings monitor the process-pace/productivity, and help recognize when something is out of adjustment.

Performance Objectives

This opportunity will require the QA/QC Operator to have the following performance objectives:

  • Must be able to work a 12-hour compressed shift in a cleanroom environment.
  • Hardworking, flexible team player with superior attention to detail and computer knowledge.
  • The ability to multi-task and manage a large volume of activity and demands.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the value of working within a team environment.
  • Manage, clean, and pre-read test wafers to support fab operations.
  • Wearing cleanroom garments is necessary to protect hair, dry skin, etc. from contaminating the product (wafers).



Requirements:

  • The position works a compressed day (7am-7pm) or night (7pm-7am) shift. Each shift is 12 hours per day; alternating 3 working days one week and 4 working days the next week.
  • On occasion, the position may require a variation from the normal compressed work week to support other shifts.
  • Arriving on shift at the scheduled time and punctuality from breaks and lunches is mandatory to always ensure appropriate coverage.
