Job Summary: The Procurement Responsible Business Specialist is responsible for operational coordination and execution of Vertiv’s global Responsible Business (RB) programs. The role drives supplier due diligence, compliance monitoring, corrective action management, data governance, KPI reporting, customer due diligence activities and supplier engagement across all regions. Acting as a central coordinator between Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Supply Chain, Sales, and external service providers, this position ensures the effective implementation of Responsible Business requirements related to human rights, responsible minerals sourcing, supply chain compliance, environmental protection, ethical business conduct and supplier governance. The role owns the central Responsible Business data framework and supports continuous improvement, regulatory readiness, and integration of Responsible Business considerations into procurement processes. The position serves as the operational backbone of the Responsible Business team, leading cross-regional program execution, supporting risk mitigation activities, driving supplier engagement, and ensuring accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

RB Programs Ownership

  • Coordinate and support day-to day execution of global Responsible Business programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and Vertiv’s Responsible Business strategy
  • Own RB program coordination activities across supplier engagement, data collection, reporting, compliance monitoring, and stakeholder communications
  • Support continuous improvement and standardization of Responsible Business processes, controls, and governance mechanisms
  • Drive overall supplier compliance performance and support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base

Responsible Business Due Diligence & Supplier Management

  • Lead the supplier due diligence process to assess compliance with Responsible Business standards and the Vertiv Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Coordinate supplier outreach activities, escalation processes, issuance, monitoring, escalation and closure of corrective actions
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance across Responsible Business criteria and ensure timely completion of required assessments and disclosures and compliance obligations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance related to human rights, responsible minerals sourcing, supply chain compliance, trade compliance, environmental protection and ethical business conduct
  • Support implementation of new regulatory and customer due diligence requirements across the supply base
  • Identify and assess, and prioritize supplier risks related to Responsible Business standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support development and execution of remediation plans for identified supplier risks
  • Escalate overdue or high-risk supplier issues to procurement leadership and relevant stakeholders
  • Track risk reduction trends and provide recommendations for mitigation of recuring issues
  • Develop reporting and analysis supporting supplier risk management and compliance decision-making
  • Act as a primary Responsible Business liaison for assigned regions and procurement stakeholders
  • Partner with commodity managers and regional procurement teams to improve supplier participation and compliance performance
  • Support regional leadership meetings through preparation of KPI updates, risk reports, supplier status reviews, and recommended actions

Data Governance & Analytics

  • Maintain and own the central dataset for all Responsible Business programs, ensuring data accuracy consistency, integrity and proper data governance
  • Coordinate the data gathering, processing, validation, and control, supporting creation of dashboards and KPI tracking tools
  • Coordinate with external service providers to ensure timely and accurate exchange of data
  • Lead KPI reporting and cross-regional performance tracking
  • Ensure high‑quality and timely data delivery for customer requests, internal reporting, audits, and regulatory submissions.
  • Drive supplier response rates across Responsible Business programs

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Communicate compliance status, risks, and performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., ITC, Procurement, Sales, Compliance, Sustainability) to ensure effective implementation of Responsible Business requirements
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on compliance improvements, process optimization, data quality enhancement and risk reduction
  • Leverage external vendors and databases to stay updated on responsible minerals, anti‑human trafficking, environmental requirements, and broader Responsible Business trends
  • Work directly with Sales and Customers to respond to Responsible Business inquiries and due diligence questionnaires.
  • Perform all activities in alignment with Vertiv Strategic Priorities, with a focus on continuous improvement (VOS), quality, speed, and efficiency.
  • Performs all other activities related to the agreed type of work according to the instructions of the direct superior

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in procurement, supply chain risk management, Responsible Business, or compliance‑related functions. About 3-5 years
  • Strong understanding of Responsible Business standards, supplier due diligence processes, compliance frameworks and global regulatory expectations.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data management, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with suppliers, internal teams, and customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, stakeholder management and project leadership
  • Independent, self-driven individual with proven ability to work effectively across global and cross‑functional environment
