Procurement Executive
Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement cycle, including supplier sourcing, RFQ issuance, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, purchase order processing and delivery follow-up.
- Procure materials, equipment and services to support business requirements.
- Monitor purchase orders and supplier performance, proactively addressing delivery delays, quality concerns and commercial issues.
- Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, reliability and overall commercial value.
- Support supplier onboarding, vendor master data maintenance and regular supplier performance evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with relevant teams to ensure timely and effective procurement support.
- Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, approval procedures and procurement governance requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records in the ERP system, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and audit-ready.
- Assist with procurement reporting, KPI tracking and initiatives aimed at improving procurement efficiency, cost effectiveness and processes.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Maritime Studies or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
- Experience in marine, offshore, shipyard, engineering or technical service industries will be an advantage
