Procurement Specialist (Non-Tech), Banking /Maternity Cover Contract- UID: 2269

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and RFx processes to contract execution and supplier management.

• Lead sourcing activities across non-technology categories, including Sales & Marketing, Events, Creative Agencies, Corporate Services, and selected Facilities Management.

• Develop sourcing strategies, conduct market analysis, and drive cost-effective procurement solutions.

• Manage RFQ/RFP/RFI exercises, supplier evaluations, and provide commercial recommendations.

• Negotiate pricing, service levels, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers.

• Partner with Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders throughout the procurement process.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with governance, risk, and audit requirements.

• Build and manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or related discipline.

• 5–10 years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.

• Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement, RFQ/RFP/RFI processes, and supplier negotiations.

• Experience in non-technology procurement categories, particularly Sales & Marketing, Events, Corporate Services, and Facilities Management.

• Good understanding of procurement governance, contract management, and supplier risk.

• Experience with procurement systems (e.g. SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement Cloud, Jaggaer) is an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• Negotiate favourable commercial and contractual outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with procurement governance and risk requirements.
