Product Configuration Engineer (Semiconductor/ SAP, East Region)
Summary
Product Configuration Engineer in the semiconductor industry responsible for reviewing customer specifications, defining product parameters, developing test methods and inspection plans, and maintaining manufacturing specifications in SAP. Works cross-functionally with Applications, Process, Planning, and Operations teams to ensure product feasibility and coordinate revision cut-over activities.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze customer specifications and product requirements.
- Clarify specification discrepancies and technical uncertainties with customers.
- Define and document product parameters, labeling, laser marking, cassettes, and CofC requirements.
- Develop test methods, product controls, and inspection plans.
- Prepare official customer specification review documentation.
- Chair PST meetings and coordinate cross-functional discussions.
- Collaborate with Applications and Process Engineers to ensure product feasibility within fab capability.
- Create and maintain manufacturing specifications in SAP.
- Implement revisions and updates to existing product specifications.
- Support SAP-PTC, MES, and system improvement projects.
- Provide inputs on new customer requirements and support solution development.
- Participate in global Product Configuration initiatives and process improvements.
- Coordinate product revision cut-over activities with Planning, Technology, and Operations teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or Science-related disciplines.
- Relevant experience in similar functions or roles.
- Knowledge of SAP system is an advantage.
