Product Design Lead Payment Services

You will partner with Product Managers, Technical Owners, and senior stakeholders to define strategic objectives, prioritise roadmap opportunities, and set success metrics. You will de-risk initiatives through research, product, and engineering collaboration; deliver tested, validated outcomes incrementally; and monitor customer and operational impact. You will champion design thinking, improve ways of working, and lead and mentor product designers across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic objectives and goals with Product Managers, Technical Owners, and senior stakeholders
• Identify and prioritise product roadmap initiatives and opportunities
• De-risk initiatives through collaboration with research, product, and engineering
• Define success metrics, expected impact, and outcome measurement
• Deliver tested and validated outcomes incrementally
• Partner with Product Engineering to align delivery with the vision
• Improve ways of working to deliver quality member experiences
• Monitor customer impact and operational success and pivot when needed
• Champion design thinking and member-centric practices with stakeholders
• Lead and mentor product designers across geographies
• Develop a high-performing design team and support career development
• Promote continuous improvement and collaboration across the team

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a comparable UX Design or Product Design role
• Experience in a scale-up or start-up SaaS company
• Experience leading a small Product Design squad or contributing to product design and launch in a fast-growing company
• Knowledge of product design methodologies, especially Design Thinking and user-centred design
• Ability to define product strategy and OKRs with Product Management and Engineering
• Proficiency leading design reviews and using Figma
• Experience with user testing and research methodologies
• Experience working in an agile scale-up environment
• Experience using data tools such as Looker, Heap, GA, Hotjar, or similar to inform design
