Product Designer/ Financial Institution / IT Project (REF:TYL)
Salary: $4,000 – $5,000 per month
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project and engineering team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams.
Generate clear ideas, concepts and graphical assets from beginning to end.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Research materials and techniques.
Analyse how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences.
Identify opportunities for new products.
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems and constantly seek to improve the user’s experience of the platform.
Presenting ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders.
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
Define and maintain design system.
Design for the web, android and iOS.
Test functionality.
Improve the design of existing products.
Gather feedback from product users.
Getting things done in a fast-paced environment.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, generate visual explorations, draft copy, and streamline repetitive design tasks.
Integrate AI thoughtfully into product experiences where it adds genuine user value, partnering with engineering and product to shape AI-powered features.
Job Requirement:
Strong sense of design aesthetics, including layout, colour, typography, and user experience.
Proven track record in designing user interfaces.
Demonstrable UI design skills with a compelling portfolio.
Extensive experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
Proficiency in design, prototyping, and wireframing tools, particularly Figma.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Comfortable using Notion for project management, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.
Desirable skills: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Jitter, motion design, and video editing.
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Bonus: Experience with coding, particularly HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, for rapid prototyping.
Passionate and detail-oriented. Details matter to you, and if the text in a button is off-centre by a pixel you will go to the end of the earth to figure out why.
Experience with CI/CD.
