Product Designer

Designs user experiences for Hertz’s digital products, including websites, apps, and rideshare tools, using research and design tools like Figma to create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
We're growing our Product team and User Experience as a discipline is a key part of this team's strategy. We’re searching for passionate and talented Product Designer to be a part of this team, driving better product experience for our users across multiple products and projects for:
- Website and apps - help make this experience as friendly and friction-free as possible
- Rideshare tools for drivers and management - a developing line of business with a lot of potential growth
- Design systems for multiple products
This is your chance to join a cross-functional team of designers, developers, data analysts, and product managers to create user-centered, data-driven experiences.
The starting salary is $80,000, commensurate with experience
What You’ll Do:
- Design end-to-end customer experiences, from overall UX strategy to detailed UI design
- Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to solve complex user problems
- Gather insights from employees, customers, and leadership to inform design decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve existing products and experiences
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs across platforms
- Conduct user research and incorporate feedback into iterative design solutions
- Communicate design concepts through wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and presentations
- Collaborate with fellow designers and researchers to uphold best practices and design standards
- Stay current on emerging design trends and technologies, including AI
What We're Looking for:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2-3 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of research and design tools such as Mural, Figma, InVision, Dovetail, Survey Monkey, Google Forms
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative research to inform design iteration
- Skilled at prototyping and quick thinking
- Excellent design and communications capabilities
