#### Job Description
The Product Director - Marketing will define the game's positioning and translate it into a communication and marketing plan, as well as a communication strategy. As a member of the core game team, the Product Director - Marketing is responsible for shaping and enriching the product's definition and appeal to ensure its commercialization, ensuring it meets player needs, and enabling it to stand out in the market.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
Product definition and positioning
- Define the key elements of the product offering (target audience, value proposition, market segment).
- Ensure product positioning with the support of headquarters and the publishing and commercialization teams.
- Channel the creative vision of the product to maximize its commercial potential.
- Strategically guide and refine the product definition with the core team.
- Contribute to business decisions related to the product: business model, sales objectives, SKU choices, and financial strategies based on market data and player behavior.
Communication and marketing strategy
- Orchestrate the communication strategy leading up to the announcement and anticipate launch-related needs: define the pillars of the commercialization strategy (key themes, key messages, tone) and jointly define marketing assets with editorial teams.
- Contribute to defining the resources required for the global campaign in collaboration with editorial teams.
- After the announcement, support the implementation of the communication campaign: review assets and provide feedback, guide choices based on product knowledge, and support agencies in the implementation of assets.
Audience and market analysis
- With the support of user research and market data teams, provide the core team with a 360° understanding and knowledge of the audience and the market.
- Collect, harmonize, and analyze the data and surveys necessary to establish priorities and leverage insights on the audience and the market.
Documentation and internal communication
- Lead the formalization of all product components (game bible, style guides, 360° vision).
- Contribute to the preparation of validation milestones, or lead them.
- Act as a product ambassador to company stakeholders: inform them and rally them around a common vision.
- Embody the product vision for the teams working on it: raise awareness and inspire them.
Content consistency and differentiation
- Ensure that the game content aligns with the product positioning.
- Contribute to differentiation (artistic direction, value propositions, etc.).
- Help establish feature priorities and guide production teams using benchmarks and industry trends.
Brand alignment
- Align the product with the brand to which it belongs.
- In the case of a standalone product, develop the brand foundations to define the product scope.
Resource management
- Define and manage the resources required to implement the product strategy throughout its lifecycle (team, budget).
- Launch and develop business opportunities (partnerships, out-of-game activities, etc.).
#### Qualifications
**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM**
- Relevant university degree or technical training.
- At least 7 to 10 years of marketing experience in video game production within a specific business unit, or any other relevant experience. Previous experience in multiplayer and online games is an asset.
- Leadership skills.
