Position Summary

This Digital organization is a rapidly expanding business focused on connecting customers to thousands of retail locations through seamless digital experiences. The goal is to become the destination of choice for convenience by making a broad assortment of products, as well as proprietary and partner restaurant offerings, easily accessible through mobile and digital channels.

The Digital Financial Operations team partners with multiple product groups to manage complex transaction streams across both digital and physical touchpoints. The team's core focus is ensuring the precise and accurate accounting of funds and store payments across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the product lifecycle by leading end-to-end product development for assigned features, partnering closely with software engineering to deliver high-quality releases on schedule.
  • Balance strategic and tactical priorities by owning and prioritizing the product backlog while aligning immediate stakeholder requests with the long-term product vision.
  • Develop a deep understanding of digital channel functionality to identify opportunities that improve workflows and reduce processing costs.
  • Propose data-driven system enhancements within complex, multi-layered environments and grow into a subject matter expert to support future scalability.
  • Create and manage well-defined Jira stories with clear acceptance criteria for Development and QA teams, while maintaining comprehensive documentation in Confluence.
  • Define, monitor, and report on audience-specific metrics and KPIs to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value.
  • Collaborate with distributed technical and product teams across multiple regions and time zones to keep development efforts on track.
  • Translate complex financial system capabilities into business priorities, fostering alignment among cross-functional stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven ability to establish and drive a strong point of view supported by data and analytics.
  • Demonstrated success managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent requests across cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience serving as an Agile Product Owner.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience developing product roadmaps and prioritizing initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data visualization and monitoring tools such as Power BI, New Relic, and Tableau.
  • Working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR).
  • Familiarity with state-level regulations, tax requirements, and compliance standards.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Industry Experience
  • Experience with accounting processes in retail, e-commerce, or other high-volume transaction environments is strongly preferred.
