Product Manager
About the Role
We're hiring a Product Manager to be a foundational early member of our product team and take a new product from zero to launch. This is hands-on and high-ownership: you'll own the work end to end, from discovery and customer research through requirements, delivery, and iteration, partnering closely with engineering and go-to-market along the way. You'll turn ambiguous problems into shipped product and help set the bar for how we build. If you're energized by early-stage, 0-to-1 work and want to own an outcome rather than a backlog, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Take a new product from zero to one. Own the direction, the scope, and the outcome, from first concept through launch and the iterations after it.
- Live close to the customer. Run discovery with suppliers, contractors, and prospects, and turn what you hear into a sharp point of view on what to build and why.
- Get hands dirty. Scope, draft, design, and prototype the product yourself, putting working concepts in front of customers and engineering rather than handing off documents.
- Make the calls. Turn that point of view into detailed technical requirements your engineering team can build from, a prioritized roadmap, and clear decisions about what ships now versus later
- Ship and iterate with your pod. Partner tightly with a small, dedicated engineering team to get to production fast, then measure, learn, and improve what is live.
- Keep everyone aligned. Bring engineering, design, and leadership along with clear, frequent updates on progress, risks, and decisions.
What You'll Bring
Required
- Three to five years in product management, including time in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Technical fluency to write detailed requirements and partner closely with engineering to ship high-impact products.
- Strong understanding of the B2B fintech and payments value chain, with the judgment to turn it into prioritization decisions.
- Fluency with AI tools across your work, from drafting and pressure-testing PRDs to competitive and domain research to front-end prototyping.
- Strong customer empathy and a track record of working directly with customers and prospects to scope and design products.
- High agency and sound product judgment; you form and defend a point of view, not just execute a backlog.
Preferred
- Prior experience building a new product from scratch.
- Background in credit/lending, order-to-cash, or B2B fintech.
- Construction or fintech industry experience.
