Product Manager (Payment Network)
Summary
A product manager role focused on expanding a global payments ecosystem: onboarding and integrating payment partners (PSPs, banks, card networks, eWallets), delivering integrations with engineering and operations teams, and optimizing transaction success rates. Requires 5+ years in payments/fintech product management and strong knowledge of payment ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Drive the expansion of the global payments ecosystem by onboarding and integrating payment partners, including PSPs, banks, card networks, and eWallet providers.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver payment integrations, conduct testing, and support successful launches.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements from internal and external stakeholders, translating them into actionable product and project plans.
- Monitor payment performance metrics, identify optimization opportunities, and work with partners to improve transaction success rates and customer experience.
- Conduct market research on emerging payment methods, industry trends, and fintech innovations to support product strategy and business growth.
- Manage end-to-end partner onboarding activities, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.
- Support the ongoing enhancement of payment products and capabilities across global markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, payments, fintech, e-commerce, or related industries.
- Good understanding of payment ecosystems, including card acquiring and issuing, payment gateways, digital wallets, bank transfers, and alternative payment methods.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver product enhancements, integrations, or technology projects.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with payment service providers (PSPs), gateways, banks, financial institutions, or payment processors.
- Exposure to API-based integrations, payment testing, UAT, and partner certification processes.
- Knowledge of payment performance metrics such as authorization rates, transaction success rates, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Passion for fintech, digital payments, and global commerce.
- Experience working in an international or multi-market environment is a plus.
