Product Manager owning the Payments API domain end to end at Reap, driving discovery, specifications, and delivery for payment infrastructure including networks, FX, stablecoins, and compliance, while leveraging AI tooling.
Own a defined Payments domain end to end, understand client needs and payment capabilities, conduct discovery, identify risks and opportunities, lead cross-functional product decisions, write precise specifications, define success metrics, maintain product quality, and use AI tools to improve your work and product capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own a defined Payments domain from problem definition through delivery and iteration
- Develop expertise in clients, payment capabilities, and compliance requirements
- Conduct structured discovery with clients and partners
- Identify domain gaps, risks, and opportunities
- Work with engineering, solutions architecture, compliance, and legal
- Build relationships with external partners and clients
- Communicate product decisions, rationale, and tradeoffs
- Write precise product specifications
- Define and evaluate domain success metrics
- Maintain a high bar for product quality
- Use AI tooling for research, specification writing, analysis, communication, and synthesis
- Identify opportunities for AI-assisted product capabilities
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of product management experience
- Experience in fintech, payments infrastructure, or B2B SaaS
- Independent ownership of significant product domains
- Knowledge of payment networks, onramps, offramps, stablecoins, FX, banking partners, and compliance
- Knowledge of AML, KYC, KYB, transaction screening, and transaction monitoring
- Experience working with APIs end to end
- Active use of AI tooling
- Strong written communication
