Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer problems and translate them into valuable product solutions.
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define requirements, scope and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain product direction, priorities and roadmap.
  • Balance customer, technical and business priorities.
  • Ensure delivered functionality addresses the original customer need.
  • Communicate product decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of the product area and identify opportunities to improve it.

This hands-on Product Manager role offers end-to-end ownership of a product area, with an approximate split of 70% delivery and 30% product strategy. Product management training is provided, and the opportunity may suit an experienced Product Manager or an ex-military professional transitioning into commercial Product Management. The permanent role is London-based with hybrid working, typically one to two days per week in the office. Salary is £50,000–£60,000 per year plus benefits.
