Product Owner Platform

At Ecare, multiple teams develop software for the healthcare sector every day. Underlying all these teams is one crucial foundation: the internal platform. This platform provides generic building blocks, implementations, and APIs that development teams rely on to work quickly, securely, and consistently.

As Product Owner Platform, you bring focus, direction, and predictability to this domain. You ensure that the Platform team builds the right things, at the right time, and with clear standards.

This is not a classic business PO role.

Your stakeholders are primarily internal development teams and colleagues who support these development teams.

You stand your ground in substantive discussions and maintain an overview of multiple interests simultaneously. You communicate clearly, even when things get difficult, and take responsibility for direction and prioritization.

In addition:

• you think organization-wide and not from the perspective of a single team;

• you take ownership and have the courage to make decisions;

• you understand software development processes such as SCRUM and the dynamics between teams;

• you speak the language of developers, without needing to build yourself;

• you oversee the consequences of technical and organizational choices.
