Product Owner (Senior) - Identity & Access Management

Own and drive the Identity & Access Management product strategy, roadmap, and backlog for Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Zero Trust security initiatives across BEC’s banking tech stack.

Product Owner (Senior) - Identity & Access Management --> We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to take ownership of our Identity & Access Management platform, encompassing Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Privileged Access Management, Identity Governance, and Identity Lifecycle Management. This product is a critical strategic capability supporting all business units and serves as a foundational component of our Zero Trust security architecture. The role combines product leadership, stakeholder management, and deep understanding of modern identity platforms and security practices. As Product Owner, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for identity services while ensuring alignment with security, compliance, architecture, and business objectives. You will work closely with Security Management, Architecture, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders across the organisation. In your day-to-day work, you will collaborate closely across Poland and Denmark. We are open to candidates who would like to work either from our Warsaw office or from Roskilde, as for us, competencies and the right mindset matter more than location. If you join us , you will report directly to Henrik Ellesø. Primary task and responsibilities include: Own the Identity & Access Management product strategy, vision, and roadmap Establish and maintain a prioritised product backlog aligned with business and security objectives Drive continuous improvement and modernization of identity governance and lifecycle management processes Lead stakeholder alignment across security, architecture, operations, and business functions. Develop and maintain a strong customer-focused network and trusted relationships to ensure IAM and Access Management solutions meet customer needs and deliver business value Define product KPIs, outcome measurements, and success criteria Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements including NIS2 and ISO 27001 Drive future identity platform consolidation activities Foster a product mindset, focusing on business value, customer outcomes, risk reduction, and operational excellence Actively contribute to cross-functional collaboration and drive continuous improvement in alignment with the company's ways of working The ideal candidate combines strong Identity & Access Management experience with the ability to translate business, security, and regulatory requirements into effective solutions. The candidate should be self-driven, able to take ownership and drive priorities independently, while ensuring continuous alignment with key stakeholders. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, Identity Lifecycle Management, Zero Trust principles, and security compliance frameworks is essential. To succeed in the role, you: - Lead through influence rather than authority and have experience in a similar Product role or as an Architect - Bring experience from a area focused on Microsoft Entra ID, Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, Identity Lifecycle Management, Zero Trust principles, and security compliance frameworks - Bring strong Product Owner and leadership competencies: Provide strategic direction and translate business objectives into a clear product vision and roadmap Build trust and influence stakeholders across business and technology domains to create alignment and drive decisions Lead transformation efforts and foster adoption of new ways of working Make data-informed prioritization and investment decisions in complex and changing environments Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, creating clarity, collaboration, and commitment Translate technical concepts into business value and measurable outcomes. - Have a strong understanding of Agile & Ways of Working. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in Agile product management and modern product operating models. - Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for working in teams in Denmark and Poland.
