Position Summary
As a Seasonal Production Driver / Laborer, you will support local event deliveries and assist with loading, unloading, organizing, and handling scenic set pieces, production equipment, tools, and event materials. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
What You’ll Do

Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries to and from local event locations.

Drive 15- to 26-foot box trucks, 16- to 26-foot stake-bed trucks, Ford F-250s, and other assigned company vehicles.

Assist with loading and unloading scenic set pieces, production equipment, tools, and event materials.

Secure all loads before transportation using straps, tie-downs, moving blankets, and other appropriate equipment.

Inspect vehicles and loads before departure and report any safety, mechanical, or maintenance concerns.

Follow assigned delivery schedules, routes, parking instructions, loading-dock procedures, and event-site requirements.

Assist production crews with staging, organizing, moving, and placing materials at the shop and event locations.

Handle scenic pieces and production equipment carefully to prevent damage during loading, transportation, and unloading.

Maintain clear communication with the Production Manager, Shop Lead, event staff, and other members of the production team.

Keep company vehicles clean, organized, fueled, and ready for use.

Complete required mileage, fuel, vehicle inspection, and delivery documentation.

Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and vehicle-use procedures.

Assist with general production labor and shop-support duties when not actively making deliveries.
