PRODUCTION ENGINEER

Duties include but are not limited to

• Ensures run ability & quality of products on his line as per R&D standard.

• Update machine condition report and coordinates with Maintenance Manager to implement all preventive tasks

• In charge of predictive maintenance tasks update and implementation, repairs, and projects history.

• Suggest any potential saving of RMs with coordination with the technical department and QC Department

• Liaises with QC department to maintain strict quality standards.

• Prepares a training program for new operators and machine setters.

• Prepares skill set for Operators, Machine Setters & alternative back-ups.

• Conducts Fishbone Analysis and takes corrective action on weekly basis with coordination with Process Specialist

• Liaises with Process Improvement Department to reduce waste and increase efficiency

• Leads machines projects for run-ability, upgrades and additional features while closely coordinating with the Division Technical Manager

• Proposes continual improvement initiatives related to his job function for improved productivity • Ensures strict adherence of the operation to Quality Management System guidelines in coordination with PID Department.

• Responsible for complying with integrated management system requirements.

• Responsible with alignment with HSSE team for updating the HIRA and to ensure hazard & risk are adequately identified and documented

• Responsible with alignment with HSSE team for updating the aspect/impact and to ensure all the aspect/impact are adequately identified and documented

• Consultation and participation at all applicable levels and functions ( ex. the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation and actions for improvement of the OH&S management system).
